Marco Island Historical Society (MIHS) has received a generous grant from the Marco Island Community Fund of the Community Foundation of Collier County. Wounded Warriors of Collier County

A $249,500 grant via private donor from the Community Foundation of Collier County will directly support the Warrior Homes Program, specifically funding the purchase of a new Warrior Home, which will provide permanent long-term, affordable housing to more local Veterans in Collier County who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

Immokalee Foundation

A grant to The Immokalee Foundation provided middle school students in TIF’s Career Pathways program and staff members with a new temperature alert device, or TAD™. Worn on the wrist, the device takes the wearer’s temperature, staying illuminated with green, indicating 94F to 99.5F; amber for 99.6F to 100.3F degrees; and red for 100.4F degrees…

David Lawrence Center for Behavioral Health

A $255,000 grant to David Lawrence Center for Behavioral Health for additional staff to address the growing mental health challenges in our community and bring vitally needed health, healing and hope to children, families and adults struggling in Collier.

Collier County Public Schools

A $50,000 grant to Collier County Public Schools was given to support the “Learning Express”, the conversion of a CCPS school bus into a learning lab intended to visit the migrant worker camps for parent education and student tutoring.

Naples Art Association

A $13,000 grant to the Naples Art Association helped launch SOARing through the Arts, a year-long program of free, participatory art instruction to six collaborating nonprofits serving under-served populations in Collier County.
